Legacy Research Group is searching for someone to spearhead our next hit investment advisory… Someone who can work with our team to produce big, investable ideas.

We need an unabashed investing expert who isn’t afraid to make bold calls.

Who You Are…

You’re a top-notch investor with at least 12-20 years (or more) of experience. You can show us a long track record of spotting profitable trades or investments. Just as important, you have no trouble explaining the setups to ordinary investors who aren’t versed in detailed equity analysis.

You’re also a voracious consumer of information. You have a genuine passion for investing and writing. You’re intensely curious and live and breathe investing – whether that’s tech, energy, small-caps, micro-caps, options, or private investing deals.

You’re energetic and ambitious. You’re willing to travel anywhere and meet anyone in the hunt for big investment ideas. You’re ready to improvise, adapt, and overcome. You already have local and global connections.

You’re an expert at reading balance sheets, parsing footnotes, and valuing companies. You’re overflowing with investment and trading ideas. You’re able to analyze assets from macro, technical, fundamental, and sentiment perspectives.

You’re a good thinker, a good speaker, and a good writer with great storytelling ability. You can be boring in person… but never in print!

The Job We Need Done…

We’re looking for an expert analyst to develop and write an investment newsletter and share big ideas with the world. If you’ve ever wanted to make a living reading, thinking, and writing – and you meet the criteria above – we’d love to hear from you.

The compensation will depend on your level of experience. But you should know that the typical, bylined newsletter writer in our industry earns a very comfortable, six-figure salary, plus royalties.

What to Do Now…

Send us your track record… Show us what a good stock-picker you are. We want to see a long history of profitable trades. And make sure to highlight your biggest winners and losers. Explanations of both are welcome.

Write a letter telling us about yourself… We don’t care much what school you went to. We do care what you’ve learned doing whatever it is you’ve been doing. We appreciate odd jobs, but we’re also willing to consider Wall Street refugees.

Send us an idea… Tell us about a unique investment opportunity. Explain it to us in detail… and get us excited about it. Don’t just show us a balance sheet and a bunch of charts. Tell us how and why you picked this one investment from the thousands that are out there.

Get in touch at [email protected]. Put “Investment Writer” in the subject line. That’s your first test.
